  • The Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA is proud to announce an audiology externship for the 2024-2025 year.

    The externship is a 12 month full-time (2080 hours) position with an anticipated start date in June of 2024. We have 12 audiologists and 3 health technicians on staff. Audiology services are provided at the main facility in Philadelphia and CBOCs in Sewell and Marlton, New Jersey and Horsham, PA. We provide comprehensive diagnostic testing and treatment for hearing loss, balance disorders, and tinnitus. Programs and services offered include hearing aid care, cochlear implants, osseointegrated auditory devices, balance assessments, Progressive Tinnitus Management, ototoxic monitoring, electrophysiology, APD assessment, and telehealth.

    Historically, our traineeships have been funded by the Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA). Although we anticipate funding by OAA for these positions, this is at the discretion of OAA, pending budget approval. Students must be a U.S. Citizen to apply.
