  • Funding is to be determined and pending approval. It is anticipated funding will be limited, and some externship offers may be for unpaid positions. One position is expected to be solely pediatrics with specialized training in developmental disabilities and implementation science, pending LEND funding (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities).

    Requirements include good standing in current Au.D. program, a minimum of 400 clock hours of supervised clinical experience, and successful completion of all required coursework and competencies prior to starting externship year. Students will be required to register as a clinical audiology extern (ACE) with the TN Board of Communications Disorders and Sciences.
