- Exciting opportunity for a one-year residency position in Audiology at a leading academic health sciences center. Our residencies begin in early June to late July of each year and provide well-rounded exposure to a full range of diagnostic and treatment services for patients of all ages (approximately 50% adult and 50% pediatrics).UTMB is located on the Texas Gulf Coast, approximately 50 miles south of Houston. A team of 14 audiologists at the Center for Audiology & Speech Pathology provide over 13,000 patient visits per year in five clinic areas. Our clinics offer a full range services including: audiological evaluation, behavioral and electrophysiological central auditory processing testing, electrophysiological testing (ABR, MLR, LVR, P300, VEMP), hearing aid evaluation, fitting and maintenance, videonystagmography, rotary chair, iPASS, vHIT, and electroneuronography.
