- The Audiology Extern will rotate through four clinical sites in the Seattle area under the supervision of multiple audiologists. We typically only take one student, but there could be up to two 4th year externs. There are occasionally 2nd and 3rd year students doing short rotations which do not impact our 4th years’ schedules.
Requirements: Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited AuD program and have completed all University requirements prior to being placed in an externship/4th year site.
The ideal candidate will function well in a fast-paced environment under a variety of supervisory styles and demonstrate outstanding communication skills in addition to being detail oriented. The candidate will be required to travel to multiple clinics in Seattle and Issaquah, Washington and should therefore have reliable transportation or willingness to commute via public transit.Application materials should include:
