We have 6 offsite locations in addition to the Main Hospital. The Extern travels to our Dublin and Westerville locations.
We currently have 23 full or part time audiologists. Throughout the year, we have several student rotations including 1st and 2nd year observations, 3rd year clinic rotations, and the 4th year extern.

About Our Externship
Anticipated start date is 06/01/2027. The anticipated ending date is 05/31/2028. This is designated as Full Time. A stipend of $36,400 annually is provided.
The extern works with 4 core preceptors and gains experience in Outpatient and Inpatient settings, works at the Main Hospital and Offsite locations, and gains experience with all devices. All of the extern preceptors are CH-AP Certified and at least 2 hold their CCC-A certification.

Diagnostic Evaluation, Auditory Evoked Potentials, Newborn Hearing Screening, Hearing Aid Eval Dispensing, Cochlear Implant Eval and Mapping, Bone Anchored Hearing Devices, Auditory Processing, Assistive Technologies, Onsite Continuing Education, Research Opportunities, Community Outreach, Participation in Interdisciplinary Clinics.
The Inter professional and collaborative practice experiences include:
Family Members, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physicians, Physical Therapists, Psychologist, Social Worker, Special Educator, Speech-Language Pathologist, Teachers.
