Anticipated start date is 06/03/2024. The anticipated ending date is 06/03/2025. This is designated as Full Time and will be a paid position.

  • This will be a paid position for our Los Alamos clinic with some travel to Albuquerque. Carpooling to Los Alamos and Albuquerque from Santa Fe, NM is available.

This site is reported to have 1 staff audiologist with their CCC-A and F-AAA.

The site is reportedly serving these populations: 5 years of age and older. Our site sees less than 10% pediatric patients.

Expect these experiences: Diagnostic Evaluations, Hearing Aid Evaluations and Dispensing, Vestibular Evaluations, Tinnitus Evaluations and Treatment, (limited) Central Auditory Processing Disorder evaluations, and Community Outreach.

Experiences expected here include:

The Audiology experiences include: Diagnostic Evaluations, DPOAEs, tympanometry and acoustic reflexes, Hearing Aid Evaluations and Dispensing, Vestibular Evaluations, Tinnitus Evaluations and Treatment, and Community Outreach. This externship will offer experiences in a Medical Center setting as well as a private practice setting. Our practice is integrated within an ENT practice that we interface with directly. This is a fast paced clinical setting with an opportunity to learn a wide variety of skills.

The Inter professional and collaborative practice experiences include: Physicians, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants.

Other experiences vary, but could be:

Medical setting that often sees Spanish speaking patients. Our practice has a rotary chair, VEMPs, VNG, calorics, ECochG, and nABR.
